The Weekend Doesn’t Care
The weekend is where most people lose the thread.
They treat it like a break from who they’re becoming.
As if their goals take weekends off, too.
But growth doesn’t care what day it is.
Discipline doesn’t check the calendar.
This is the trap: thinking you deserve rest when you haven’t earned it.
And yeah—rest matters. But only if it’s intentional, not lazy.
I remind myself: the person I want to be doesn’t disappear on Saturday.
He shows up. Even if it’s just 1% better.
“We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret.” — Jim Rohn
