Resilience in the Waiting

It’s easy to feel strong when progress is visible. When the scale moves, when the miles get faster, when the bank account grows. Results fuel me.

But what about the times when nothing seems to move? When the work piles up, but the payoff hides? When the project feels like pouring water into sand?

This is where resilience is tested. Can I keep showing up when no one claps? Can I keep pushing when the outcome is invisible? Can I trust the process when doubt whispers that nothing will change?

Resilience is not just enduring pain—it’s enduring silence. It’s planting seeds and waiting for roots to take hold underground, unseen.

Results will come, but not on my schedule. My job is not to demand them. My job is to keep working. To keep watering. To keep believing.
