No One Cheers for you in the Middle of the Race

People clap when you start. They cheer when you finish.

But no one’s there in the middle.

No one’s clapping when it hurts.

When you’re full of doubt.

When you’re alone, grinding, and wondering if it’s even worth it.

That’s the part no one sees—but it’s the part that makes you.

The middle is where the race is won. Quiet. Ugly. Unseen.

Keep going anyway.!

“If it is endurable, then endure it. Stop complaining.”

(Marcus Aurelius Meditations, Book 10)
